For Stephanie:

Since I do not have xanga, I am posting on my wall the comments I have for Stephanie.

Stephanie,
Maybe you could talk about when the lady got out of her car to get on to the boys in "Samuel". She knew they were going to embarrass her and of course they did. They started laughing at her and it caused her to be very embarrassed when all she was trying to do was help them. Or maybe in "Cathedral" when the husband was embarrassed because his wifes leg was showing and Robert was right there. Even though he was blind it caused the husband mish embarrassment. Hope this helps! -Marlee

Question:

I am having a little trouble with my thesis statement.... I am writing my paper on impressions that are made in "Samuel" and "Cathedral." What does this sound like for my thesis:

In both "Cathedral" and "Samuel," it clearly shows impressions being made before they should be which relates to some people in our society today." ?????
