I am having a little trouble with my thesis statement.... I am writing my paper on impressions that are made in "Samuel" and "Cathedral." What does this sound like for my thesis:
In both "Cathedral" and "Samuel," it clearly shows impressions being made before they should be which relates to some people in our society today." ?????

Hi Marlee, I think this is a really good thesis, however I think you are being a little to general. Maybe you should try listing the type of impressions in the two stories. But overall good start. Good Luck!
I agree with Samantha. Maybe you could write about specific impressions, like how the characters stereotype each other from the beginning. Anything more specific would be good, though, I think. Hope this helps!
